Terms of Use

QuanTies is operated by QuanTies Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 16540257 and registered office at 167 Fleet Street (8th Floor), London, United Kingdom, EC4A 2EA.

You must be at least 18 years old and meet any eligibility requirements that QuanTies applies to use the service. Before we activate an account, you must provide your full date of birth and any other verification information we request, including an email address. We may restrict or end access if we cannot verify that you meet these requirements.

You must provide accurate account information, including your date of birth, keep it up to date, protect your account credentials and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. If you need to correct your date of birth after activation, contact us at hello@quanties.io; we may recheck your eligibility and restrict access if the correction shows that you are under 18. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless it results from our failure to use reasonable care.

QuanTies provides a workspace for profiles, collaboration, introductions, Teams, communications, recommendations and related features. We may change, add, remove, suspend or withdraw features where reasonably necessary for legal, security, technical, business or operational reasons. Where a change materially reduces the service you use, we will give reasonable notice unless immediate action is needed for security, legal or urgent operational reasons.

QuanTies may make some features available without charge. We may introduce paid features or subscriptions in the future, but we will tell you the applicable price and terms before you are required to pay.

QuanTies is operated from the United Kingdom and may not be available or appropriate in every location. We may change, limit or withdraw access in any country or region where this is necessary for legal, operational or security reasons. You are responsible for ensuring that your use complies with applicable local law.

Recommendations and AI-assisted features, including Quant where it is available, are designed to support collaboration and profile development. They are informational tools, not professional, legal, medical, financial, hiring or admissions advice. You should use your own judgement before acting on any output.

QuanTies does not make high-impact automated decisions about employment, education admission, credit, insurance, housing, healthcare or access to essential services.

Quant is optional and provides suggestions only. QuanTies may make a Quant connection or chat available in the service, but Quant does not contact you, make decisions for you or take actions on your behalf. Any future action-taking feature will require clear, specific authority and your review and confirmation before it is carried out.

Do not enter sensitive personal information into Quant. Do not enter another person’s personal information or confidential information unless you have a legitimate reason and authority to do so.

You retain ownership of content that you create or upload to QuanTies, including profile content, images, video, audio, messages, Team descriptions and project materials. You grant QuanTies a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, display and process that content as necessary to provide and secure the service.

That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to reasonable backup, legal and shared-content exceptions. It does not affect any rights that another member may have already obtained where you have shared content with them.

You are responsible for choosing appropriate visibility settings. If you make Team content public, it may be visible to other signed-in QuanTies members. You must have the rights, permissions and lawful basis to upload, publish or share all content and personal information you make available through the service.

You must not use QuanTies to:

• harass, threaten, discriminate against, impersonate or stalk anyone;
• upload unlawful, abusive, harmful or infringing content;
• misuse another person’s data or invade their privacy;
• send spam, unwanted invitations or misleading communications;
• scrape, harvest or commercially exploit the service or its data;
• interfere with the service, its security or another user’s account;
• reverse engineer, circumvent access controls or attempt unauthorised access except where the law expressly permits it; or
• use the service for any unlawful purpose.

QuanTies does not promise to pre-screen all content. If you believe that content or conduct breaches these Terms, infringes rights or puts someone at risk, contact us at hello@quanties.io. We may investigate credible reports and restrict access, remove content or suspend an account where reasonably necessary. We may take immediate action to protect users, comply with law or secure the service.

If we restrict content or your account and you think we have made a mistake, contact the same address to ask us to review the decision. We will consider the information available to us and take appropriate action under these Terms, applicable law and the need to protect users and the service.

QuanTies Ltd or its licensors own the software, branding, design, editorial content and other materials that make up QuanTies. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable and non-exclusive right to use the service for its intended purpose. You do not acquire ownership of QuanTies intellectual property.

QuanTies relies on third-party services for features such as authentication, hosting, database services, file storage, email, content management and AI-assisted features. Those providers may have their own terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services that we do not control, except where we are responsible under applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate an account for serious or repeated breaches of these Terms, unlawful conduct, threats to users or platform security, misuse of personal data, fraud or prolonged inactivity. Where reasonable, we will notify you and give you an opportunity to resolve the issue. Immediate action may be taken where necessary to protect users, comply with law or secure the service.

You can stop using QuanTies and request account deletion at any time. Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle deletion and retained records.

QuanTies may change, be temporarily unavailable or include experimental features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability or legal right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and mandatory consumer rights.

Subject to the paragraph above, QuanTies is responsible only for losses that are a reasonably foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or negligent performance of the service. QuanTies is not responsible for loss caused by your breach of these Terms, misuse of the service, or matters outside our reasonable control.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will publish the updated version, change the “Last updated” date, and notify you in the service or by email where a change materially affects your rights or obligations. Continued use after the effective date will not be treated as consent where consent is legally required.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory law that gives you a right to bring a claim elsewhere.
